Intersections often cause traffic bottlenecks. The CID is working hard to pop the intersection corks in North Fulton. In 2008, the CID committed $800,000 to assist the city in improving 10 Alpharetta intersections over the next several years.

Planned intersection improvements include:

2. Canton Street at Mayfield Rd.
3. Hembree Rd. at Maxwell Rd.
4. Kimball Bridge Rd. at Waters Rd.
5. Kimball Bridge Rd. at North Point Parkway
6. Old Milton Parkway at Haynes Bridge Rd.
7. Highway 9 at Vaughn Drive
8. Webb Bridge Rd. at Shirley Bridge Rd.
9. Windward Parkway at Highway 9
10. Windward Parkway at North Point Parkway
