Plans for pedestrian connections between the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater at Encore Park and the Big Creek Greenway are moving forward. Corridor enhancements have been approved by the City of Alpharetta, which won a $4 million LCI Construction Grant from the Atlanta Regional Commission.

In the initial design phase, the Encore Parkway streetscape spans a half-mile between Westside Parkway and North Point Parkway.  Preliminary engineering studies have been conducted on the project, which includes a trail extension, median improvements, landscaping upgrades and potential bridge replacement.
